Just Because

Connecting Ideas

The ideas I have sketched out as thumbnails are a bit scattered because I got them done before the official assignment was posted, but I do have some running themes.

The primary one was people connecting through internet or phone, which will probably end up as my main theme, since its a rather personally close idea.  The other theme that I really attached to was the idea of showing the connection to people using different kinds of links: a knotted rope (tied the knot), chained together (bound together, brothers in arms sort of thing), or a DNA strand melding into them (family ties) between the wrists of held hands.

A post just because

Pattern thing I did in class. Liked how it turned out, so thought I'd throw it up. Here you go.

Abstract Self Portrait from class.

Didn't have the time to add the color to the background that I had wanted. Perhaps later.
