Here's the jpeg in case email is dumb and not working.  Proof that I did have it finished.  Let me know if I need to figure out some way to get the layered file to you.

Spheres 2

Spheres 1

Done with a mouse cause my tablet broke, so not as pretty as they could be.

Playing with overlays. Looks like a painting in a horror movie setting.

Photoshop painting practice

Both with and without the lineart.

Some Color Studies

Still debating on the composition as a whole, and which subjects I want to use.  But here's the color studies for what I initially had in mind for each.

Just Because

Connecting Ideas

The ideas I have sketched out as thumbnails are a bit scattered because I got them done before the official assignment was posted, but I do have some running themes.

The primary one was people connecting through internet or phone, which will probably end up as my main theme, since its a rather personally close idea.  The other theme that I really attached to was the idea of showing the connection to people using different kinds of links: a knotted rope (tied the knot), chained together (bound together, brothers in arms sort of thing), or a DNA strand melding into them (family ties) between the wrists of held hands.

Brushwork Boat

Color Palette that I totally didn't forget to upload.

A post just because

Pattern thing I did in class. Liked how it turned out, so thought I'd throw it up. Here you go.
