Connecting Ideas

The ideas I have sketched out as thumbnails are a bit scattered because I got them done before the official assignment was posted, but I do have some running themes.

 The primary one was people connecting through internet or phone, which will probably end up as my main theme, since its a rather personally close idea.  The other theme that I really attached to was the idea of showing the connection to people using different kinds of links: a knotted rope (tied the knot), chained together (bound together, brothers in arms sort of thing), or a DNA strand melding into them (family ties) between the wrists of held hands.

So I realized today that the silhouette I uploaded had a section that was filled white for no good reason. I didn't do that, and I absolutely didn't notice it when I uploaded it, but it was apparently a thing.

 I always have trouble choosing for things like this. What to consider better than others, whether I should go with things more representative of my own style or interests, narrowing it down to only a set number. But I think these are pretty good and show a nice round view of my work.
